Biography
Brooklyn indie pop/electro outfit Blip Blip Bleep is the work of Sean Han (vocals, guitar, synth, Ableton Live), Jojo Schwarz (drums) and Kayce McGehee (vocals, synth). BBB's debut LP Like Track Stars is available now!
Blip Blip Bleep has released two prior EPs, 2006's Wireless and 2008's Alarm Clock, Snooze Bar, Get Up. The project has earned a thumbs up from the likes of IndieFeed, PopMatters, LimeWire, The Deli NYC, BillBoard Underground, and NME.com's video blog. Songs have been heard on Castle (ABC), The 2010 Olympics (First Look: Vancouver) and The Today Show (NBC), NYC Prep (Bravo), The Troop (Nickelodeon) and others
In 2007 Blip Blip Bleep began performing live in and around NYC, most frequently at the acclaimed Mercury Lounge. The trio has shared various stages with acts such as Still Life Still, Bear Hands, Boy Crisis, XYZ Affair, Baby Dayliner, Walter Meego and Woodhands.
Sean also produced actor/musician Miles Fisher's debut EP, released in July 2009. The video for "This Must Be The Place" (Talking Heads cover) received over half a million views online wihin a week of its release. It has been featured on Gawker, Break.com, Interview Magazine, Today's Big Thing, and CollegeHumor.com.
