END EP
After great heights in late 2011 and early 2012 including playing CMJ, winning The Deli's NYC Artist of the Month and guesting on 'On The Verge' with Neil DeGrasse Tyson, the balance of last year brought a changing of tides for BBB. While we still love each other dearly, momentum has shifted focus away from the project. Jojo is currently living fulltime in Germany teaching music, Kayce is splitting her time playing music in Virginia and NYC, and Sean is recently married, working and producing a few tracks in NYC under the name Light Bike. This is all a roundabout setup for two things.
First, amidst all this change, as some of you know we have been slowly chipping away at a new release. While Sean wrote the material for the first three records, the latest configuration of the group spurred a crop of collaborative songs reflective of all three of our musical tastes, thoughts and feelings. We're incredibly proud to finally announce the release of 5 of these songs on March 5th, 2013. Across these tracks, we think you will find a familiar danceable and accessible quality from earlier releases mixed with a greater range inclusive of Jojo's eclectic electronica tastes and Kayce's softer pop singer-songwriter sensibilities.
Second, we're very sad to announce that this EP will be BBB's last effort. After 4 releases, 5 years, 6 total members and 1 totally sweet ride with a few modest successes, it's the right time to let the project rest. Following lots of deliberation, we decided to call this final release End EP.
We sincerely hope this music lives on on your music players and memories. If you enjoy the new release, or any of the older ones, please share with a friend! Especially with this final EP we made it because we love making music and all we want is for people to hear it. We're not raising funds for anything, we're not asking you to come out to a show. We're only asking you to buy, stream, even steal the music (but try the first two first plz) and encourage a friend to do the same if you think they'll like it.
